Huckleberry Shores-Lakefront Home with Great Shoreline!

Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Huckleberry. The house is very well equipped, even more so than most Airbnb rentals we have done. We had 8 adults and three kids and were never crowded in any of the spaces. The AC works great. Be prepared for very steep grades on the drive in and out and curvy roads in the mountains with some hairpin turns. I would suggest having everything you need before you go. Cell service is around 1-2 bars with US cellular/ATT. Wifi present and ok. The owner/manager is awesome and responded quickly to the only issue we had with wifi and had the issue resolved in the first 24 hrs. This place was worth every penny and between the deer and wildlife you won't regret this stay!

Enjoyed the outdoor deck

this place was amazing and a great first with our family. the baby gates made it so nice for our toddler grandson who came for part of the stay and a nice area in the water to be able to take him out. We will definitely be looking to rent this place again!!!! it was everything I wanted for our trip and more. beds comfy, kitchen stocked with any needed equipment and clean!!!

Overall, this house is a great place to stay with all the amenities a person needs. Living room is huge with lots of seating for everyone. Deck provides a fantastic sunrise view in the mornings. Lots of seating options on the patio for everyone to enjoy visiting or watching people in the water. The water access is very nice with a gravel path all the way to the water's edge from the back patio.

The house has a different set up with the location of the basement bedroom with a king bed and the walk out door to access the patio/water. No stairs are provided off the upper deck so everyone either walks completely around the house on the outside or through the bedroom to access the outside patio. Not a deal breaker, we made it work.

Beautiful home right on the water! Comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen. Any questions I had were answered promptly! Would definitely come back!

The view from this place was amazing . Super easy walk right to the water . There are a few funny quirks like the view from the front bedroom straight into the living room and accessing the lake from the downstairs bedroom. But we had 8 people and made it work just fine and had blast!

My friends and I had a blast at this Airbnb. The host was polite and communicative from start to finish. The location was exactly what we were hoping for with the peacefulness. We saw a deer and her offspring multiple times, watched squirrels and birds and roamed the lake shore.
One thing to mention is it might be wise to arrive with your groceries you want. It’s between 30-60 minutes to hit an actual grocery store.

Great place close to ramps and spacious

We very much enjoyed staying here. The home was amazing loved the back yard lead right to the lake.

We had a wonderful time! The accommodations were excellent. We had two one year olds so safety was a big concern. The solid wood half door at the stairs was a wonderful safety feature.

This lake house was perfect for our family getaway. The home was comfortable and very peaceful. We enjoyed having meals on the deck overlooking the lake and sitting by the fire pit at night.

This place was very clean, and spacious. It was a great place to rest and relax. We were able to pull our pontoon up to the back of the property, no dock needed to explore this beautiful lake. This house was very peaceful in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the child door on the stairs for kids. Hosts were very responsive with information and questions beforehand. We had a really great time.

First time using Airbnb (usually use timeshare). Everything was exactly as described. Host was incredibly responsive from time of booking to check out. The home met our needs perfectly.

The location was perfectly isolated away from urban surroundings. Absolutely loved getting back to nature and the lake was truly amazing. I wish i had booked for a longer stay.
